Cavs with the victory over the pistons

Cavs with the victory over the pistons

I'm just going to talk about the things I think the Cavs need to do to win it all this year and the teams that they should be worried about because the NBA is not a joke this year... guys are getting old and want their championship ring, new players are stepping up and theres just no easy games anymore. Everyone thought Denver would take out the Jazz easily but thats not what's going on now as you can see the jazz lead the series 3-2 and also the Atlanta Hawks who led at the beginning of their series with the Bucks 2-0 but now are trailing 3-2. So Basicly what I'm saying is that the Cavs wouldn't want an upset like that. What they need is execution. They can't always depend on Lebron to do all the scoring for them... They brought Antwan Jamison in the roster for a reason and that's to put up some points. He's been doing his job so far so he just needs to keep it up. The guards have to knock down some shots because teams are obviously going to double team Lebron so when he kicks it out, shooters have to be ready to knock it down. The post men have to be very aggressive. Shaquille O'neal especially because he has a lot of miss matches and he has to make his free throws too because I have a feeling he's going to be there a lot. Teams would rather have him at the freethrow line rather then getting 2 easy points... we all know about Mr O'neal's poor freethrow shooting so enough said about that.
I don't see any team in the eastern conference matching up to the Cavs except the Orlando Magic, and the Celtics might put up a bit of a fight but that's just my opinion. The Orlando Magic beat them last year and are just as good now as last year and if not then even better. Jamir Nelson is destroying any guard that checks him and despite Dwight Howards foul trouble lately, he still put up a tough defensive stance with his average of 6 blocks per game. It's very unpredictable in the west because they're very tight on that side, but i have a hunch we might see a finals of Lakers vs Cavs. But again, that's just my opinion
If you watch Cleveland Cavaliers games, you would notice that Lebron can do anything with both hands... wether its passing, dribbling, dunking and finishing at the rack, but it was a different story at the end of the last Chicago and Cavs game. The Cavs are lucky the series was over or else they would of been in trouble with Lebron James injured. At the end of the game, Lebron had two freethrows to close the game and he made the first. But curiously, he shot the second freethrow with his left hand for some reason. That reason was that he might of slightly injured his right elbow and after that first shot he felt as if his elbow was numb like he hit a funny bone or something and cause him a lot of pain. On an interview, he said that the injury is nothing serious and he will be okay, but if it was hurting him so much that he had to shoot with his left hand then it has to be worst then that. He's probably saying it's nothing serious because he doesn't want Cleveland fans to get so worried, or his teamates and coaching staffs either so that would explain why. But he has a couple days to get back to 100% so lets hope our king gets healthy real soon. I expect a lot of icing on that elbow anytime before the game and he will probably wear a different arm sleeve for protection of his elbow. He will also have to be careful because of the celtics physical defense but also has to be aggresive because he wouldn't want to be out muscled.
we'll find out how his elbow is in game 1,
thank you

It wasn't a big surprise that the Cavs would advance and the Bulls would leave packing, but they did put up a fight in this game 5. Being down by with 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter, they were able to trim that lead down to 2. They put up a good game and a good series but the Cavs were too much to handle in this one. They lost their last game of the season 94-96 to the Cavs. And if you check the stats, Lebron James would be the guy you would want in your roster for the playoffs. in his last 15 playoff games, he averaged 35 points, 8.6 rebounds and 8.4 assists. again... only Lebron can do that. In this game though, Jamison was your high scorer for the Cavs as he netted 25 points. He was doing a lot of damage in the post and even steped out behind the arct for a couple three pointers. Shaq almost took down the rim twice in this. putting a big spin move on Noah and crushed the rim with one hand was one of them and the other was when Mo Williams fed him in the post for the two handed crush and the foul. Lebron almost got his second consecutive trible double but he was an assist shy of it, with 20 points, 9 assists and 10 rebounds. The Cavs will move on to the second round to play against the Celtics. The Cavs had the upper hand in the season, beating the celtics 3 times to 1. But the Cavs do struggle against good defense and that's what the celtics are known for so I think this will be an interesting matchup. I think they're going to put Tony Allen on Lebron with some help side and double teams, but Lebron is surounded by great shooters so the Celtics are going to have to be on point on every defensive sequence. First game between those two teams is going to be on a Saturday, May 1st and you will hear from me shortly
If you watched the game 4 of the series between the Cavs and the bulls you could tell that the Cavs were mad about losing game 3 and they just let out their anger in game 4. Lebron looked as focussed as ever and was ready to go. He had one of his many triple doubles of the year with a game high of 37 points, 12 assists and add that with 11 rebounds, you can't say he's not a beast, only Lebron can do that. Even the bench was in the zone that game. The Cavs bench outscored the Bulls bench by over 20 points, that's when you know your team is feeling it. The Cavs blew the Bulls out in a final score of 121 to 98. The Bulls never had the lead in this one and the game was over at the end of the 3rd quarter after the Cavs have build up a 20 point lead to start with. The bulls only had one man to really support them but this is basketball, it takes 5 players to win. But anyway that man was Joakim Noah. He put up a team high of 25 points and 20 rebounds. If it wasn't for him, the reffs would of probably ended the game at the 3rd quarter because it was getting really ugly. Lebron was once again a one man wrecken crew and beating every man the Bulls would put on him. Your Big diezel Shaquille O'Neal was all over the paint, preventing any Bull to get a good look inside. The Cavs surely worked the Bulls and i think its time they go back to the drawing board and find some new answeres before their season is over. Derek Rose did not have a good game in this one and was well guarded. The only good thing about him in this game was that he had a team high of ''5'' assists. That's your team high ? I think that says it all, and the Cavs just wanted it more. Bulls are just not ready to be a championship contender and need to change up a few things.
But will they bounce back next game to prevent being eliminated ? we'll see as I bring you the stats of that game next time.

You could tell that the Cavs were having trouble with the Bulls defense but who would of known they had what it takesto defeat the Cavs ! they had a 20 point lead in the begining of the 3rd quarter and almost gave the Cavs the lead as the Cavs started clicking in the third and started breaking down the Bulls defense but they managed to keep their composure and make big plays in the 4th quarter as they beat the Cavs by two points in a final score of 106-108. Lebron James put up a big game as he tried to make a comback for his Cavs with 39 points and 8 assists and Antwan Jamison had a descent game himself. Couldn't really find his offense but made a big effort to contribute in this game with 11 rebounds. But the cavs couldn't stop the Bulls in this one. Derek Rose put up a team high in points with 31 on the night. He was just fooling with the Cavs guards, beating them left in right and finishing strong at the basket and had some help too as Joakim Noah put in 15 rebounds for the Bulls. Luol Deng of the Bulls also had a good game as he took the challenge of taking on Lebron. He didn't really stop him on offense but took on the challenge pretty well on offense as he scores 12 of his 22 points in the 4th quarter. He put a big crossover on Lebron in the 4th quarter on the baseline of the court, dribbling to his right and putting it behind his back going to his left as he blows by Lebron James and doing a double pump layup on three of the Cavs's forwards. Kirk Hinrinch alse found his offense in this game and he really needed it because he struggled in the first two games. He scored in double figures in this game with 16 points three of five from the three point line. This matchup might of just gotten interesting, or maybe this is just something that woke up the Cavs and might of made them frustrated and want to take it out on the Bulls on the next game. But will they keep their composure and defeat the Bulls next game ?
keep reading my blogs and I will fill you in on all the details
Thank you
As expected the Cavs defeat the Bulls again as they take a 2-0 league in this first round match up as they defeat the bulls again 112-102. And this time, it was the Lebron James show as he put up a game high of 40 points 8 rebounds and 8 assists on the night. He was simply outstanding, making a one man highlight reel. hitting deep three pointers in front of Joakim Noah's face, and throwing a vicious tamahawk slam dunk on the new rookie James Johnson. The Cavs were shooting 56% from the field and once again held the Bulls to a low percentage of 44% this time. The Chicago Bulls defense tightened up this game as they only lost by 10, and making the Cavs have trouble with their offense, but that's why you have Lebron because he was a big weapon on offense and defensively and the Bulls just couldn't find an answer to stop the King. Although, Joakim Noah did have a big game with a team high in points of 25 points and added 13 rebounds so give him some credit, but if they want to beat the Cavs their going to have to play even harder because your Cleveland Caaliers are focussed and are looking for a Championship. But I am interested in the next game between these two teams because it seems as if in the second half, the Bulls found out the Cavs offense and no one other then Lebron could put up big numbers. The bulls contained all the Cavs but couldn't stop Lebron, but is it possible that Lebron could take on the Bulls on his own like he did to the pistons in 2006 ? its possible but i doubt it. The Cavs Bench are going to have to step it up a bit more if they want to sweep the Bulls because they aren't going out without a fight.
thanks for reading and you will hear from me again with the game 3 results.
Cavs start the playoffs on a high note as they defeat the bulls 96-83 despite a big performance from Chicago Bulls guard Derek Rose as he scores a game high of 28 points. The lead was even higher but everyone knew the Cavs already won the game as they started the 4th quarter up by 20 points and held Chicago to shoot a low percentage of 42% from the field. Lebron James had a team high of 24 points and had a couple more teamates score in double figures and Anderson Varejao was really cleaning up the class as got the game high in rebounds with 15 boards. Mo Williams also contributed by dishing the ball and getting easy buckets for his teamates with 10 dimes (assists) on the game. The Cavs simply dictated the tempo of the game and the Bulls just couldn't match up to them. I'm sure everyone remembers last years playoffs how the Cavs joked around a lot on the bench. I know they're not trying to insult anyone but they still did in a way and teams took it personally. Joakim Noah confronted Lebron James about his dancing on the bench and while Lebron was shooting freethrows he told him ''you're looking stupid''... This started a big conflict but Lebron James said all that playing around on the bench is done now and they mean business. Last year they swept the first two teams they played and came short in the Eastern finals as they lost to the Orlando Magics. but this year I think it's going to be a different story with their new man Antwan Jamison because he can average 18 points a game. And with their big man Shaq in the post, that will prevent anyone to get easy looks inside the paint. The Cavs simply have the upper hand in this series and aren't looking back and are defenetly going to make a playoff run this year. The Bulls played hard to get to the playoffs and they should get credit for it, especially Derek Rose because he's the one who garanteed a playoff spot during the regular season and they got it. to bad they can't match up to the Cavs but hey, at least they got there and are gettin some more playoff experience.
Thanks for reading and you will hear from me real soon
