Sunday, march 28, 2010, the Cleveland Cavaliers defeat the kings to a final score of 97-90. The Cavs have won 9 or their 10 last games and are looking really good and are making a big run to end their season. It was a tightly contested game, but the Cavaliers were able to pull away with a win. Lebron James had a monster game of 34 points and 8 assists going 13-22 from the field (3-6 3pts). He aslo added the dagger in the 4th quarter with less then a minute in the game with a jumper from long range in the face of Nocioni. Although the Kings were missing their star player Tyreke Evans who scores just a little over 20 points a game, they still managed to play well but obviously couldn't match up with the Cavs. Fans were really exited for this games for many reasons. First of all, who wouldn't want to see the number one team in action but the big story in this was Zydrunas Ilgauskas. After the big trade for getting Antawn Jamison in the lineup, as promissed by the General Manager and the coaching staff, they got big Z back in Cleveland. Although he did not start in his big return and only scored 4 points and 6 rebounds, he created a lot of energy on the floor for the Cavs, knowing how much of a quiet guy he is. The coach of the Cavs, Mike Brown wasn't happy with the Cavs's struggle in turnovers. They had 17 for the night and the coach is surely going to review it in practice. Lebron had alot of help in this game, as he had 3 other players other then him scoring in double figures and the rest of the team adding on with some garbage points. Antawn Jamison contributed with 26 points and 9 rebounds. In my opinion, he was a very good trade for the Cavs as he is filling in his role with perfection and is going to be a big weapon for the Cavs in the post season as they make a playoff run. For all Cavs fans, you can catch the Cavs in action some more tonight at 7pm vs the milwaukee bucks on the score. So long for now and you will hear from me shortly.

Welcome Everyone to my blogspot,
I will be following the latest info on Lebron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Cavs are at the moment in first place in the NBA standings and are showing no signs of slowing down, Thanks to the big trade that they've made by giving away Zydrunas Ilgauskas to the Washington Wizards and receiving the big 6 foot 11 forward, Antawn Jamison. They are having some issues with their injury list of their 7 foot 1 center Shaquille O'neal and leading scorer Lebron James. But are doing fine without them so far, by defeating the San Antonio Spurs 97-95 on monday night. Antawn Jamison had a team high of 17 points with some help by Anderson Varejao with his 9 rebounds. The Cavs play again on tuesday march 16th against the Pistons in detroit with Lebron James expacted to be playing. They've already beaten the Pistons twice this season and In my opinion have that game in the bag. The pistons just dont have the fire power to keep up with the cavs. First of all, these past few years, they weren`t really known for defense and the cavs have a really strong offense and they run the plays to perfection. Defense is outstanding also. The pistons on the other hand, don`t have the right matchups against the cavs. They can double team Lebron all they want but he isn`t selfish and he`s very smart on the court and has great vision. He knows he has great players that can shoot from the perimeter such as, Moe Williams, Delontae west, Anthony Parker and even jamario moon will make the shot or he can even give it to his big man Jamison. The pistons have really been struggling in their offense lately and can`t seem to get it together. Another reason why I say the pistons dont have a chance is because the Cavs average 102.26 points per game and hold their apponents to a low average of 94.72 points per game. The pistons barely average that. They average 93.25 points a game and allow their apponents 98.64 points per game, and with the Cavs`s strong offense, they will probably achieve more. Bottom line is that the Cavs have the upper hand on that game.
